Anne Black

We have just received a new delivery of beautiful Anne Black ceramics. We love Anne's classic yet contemporary designs that are made to be used and loved, and to stand the test of time. All pieces are made from porcelain which has a delicate feel but is actually very durable.

All of Anne's products are handmade in Vietnam, in collaboration with master craftspeople and artisans. With support from the Danish development program (DANIDA) Anne has been able to establish a production facility in co-operation with Mrs Hang, who is from a long line of porcelain workers. The collaboration focuses particularly on the working environment and employment conditions. Sneak Peek...

We have been so flat out with deliveries lately that we haven't even had a chance to update the blog! Here is just a sneak peek of some of the things that have been coming through our doors lately. There's plenty more to come so make sure you drop by and take your time perusing all our lovely things.

 Beautiful mini vases from Funkis and printed porcelain bottles from Angus + Celeste. We love these - they work so well with the hanging garden planters, which we also have in store.

If you haven't seen these gorgeous beaded necklaces from Pigeonhole before we're not surprised - last time we had them in store they sold out within days! We love the new colours we've just received for winter.

This was my favourite thing to unpack today - when I opened the box I was met with such a beautiful scent from all the lovely candles, soaps and lip salves. It also helps that they all come in such lovely vintage-style packaging, I can hardly resist - I want one of each! If you're like me and can't choose between them, we also sell these lip salves in a sweet tin of three.

New Nancy Bird

New in store from another talented Melbourne designer are these beautiful linen cushions by Nancy Bird. We love the delicate watercolour details and subtle colour tones. We've got a great selection in store at the moment, but these are always quick to find new homes so make sure you come and check out the new range soon! 

Another 'new' item for us are these lovely vintage timber chairs. They're available to buy in a set of four or eight. In excellent vintage condition, with a beautiful aged patina to the wood.

Loving local talent

We're really excited about our new pendant lamp cords from Ernest Studio in Footscray. Available in a host of bright colours, these are such an easy and fun way to add a bit of design to any room in the house. The fantastic thing about these is that they plug in to a power point, making them great for renters, or if you're someone who likes to change things around often. 

We also love that they are made in Australia, and that the brains behind this great product hails from our  very own neighbourhood. We love supporting great local talent here at Sedonia. Available in 3 metre, 6 metre and 10 metre lengths, the hard part is picking a colour! 

Open Labour Day

We will be open on the Labour Day public holiday - Monday 11th March from 11am to 4pm. Pop in and say hello! Lots of exciting new stock arriving daily! 

Hello happy toes!

We've just received our very first delivery of Hello Toes socks and tights for little ones. We've got a great range of happy colours in store, and they're made out of lovely soft cotton (with a bit of added stretch) so there will be no annoying itchiness. Designed right here in Melbourne, sizes range from Teeny (0 - 6 months) to Large (5 - 8 years). Get in quick before they walk out the door!

Bright Summer Days

Can you believe that we're almost at the end of summer?! With the hot weather we've been having, it really doesn't feel like it! Although it's hot hot hot outside, it's nice and cool inside at Sedonia. Pop in to avoid the heat and check out all our lovely new things. We've got new stock arriving daily.

Lots of summer "brights" .... I see a theme emerging here.

And just arrived today.... gorgeous vintage-inspired pigeonholes with a handy coat-rack underneath. Classic yet quirky, this would be perfect for an entrance-way, although it could also look great on the wall in a bedroom, office or kitchen.
