It’s based on a wonderful blend of milk, oatmeal & smooth vanilla and all of their products are made with pure and simple plant-based ingredients which are known to soothe dry, irritated skin. Many of Barr-Co’s products are 100% vegan.

We were so excited to receive our first delivery of the latest Marimekko collection entitled 'the Weather Diary' last week. This collection was inspired by observing seasonal weather changes. The moody soft pallette of dark greens, blues and warm yellows is a beautiful reflection of changing landscapes.

Hello there...

You may have noticed that we've taken a short (unintentional) break from Blog Land. But we're well and truly back with lots of new things to tell you about. While it's been chilly out, we've been cosying up in store with all our new stock. We've also been doing some rearranging, so do pop in and take a look if you're in Seddon.

We just received a big delivery of new season MT paper tape. Great for all those wet weather crafternoons or for adding something extra to your gift wrapping. MT have also recently released their 'Casa' range, designed for decorating surfaces in the home. Walls, shelves, your refrigerator... anything goes! For lots of ideas on how to use MT tape, check out Hello Sandwich, and especially this post on her MT tape workshop.

We're also loving our new colours in the beautiful Warp & Weft macrame plant hangers. We love these  updated retro icons as a way to add a bit of colour and height to your living spaces. These bright colours modernise the look even more.

And last but not least, we're excited about our new range of Petit Bateau clothing. This French label does 'basic' so well, with wearable shapes and beautiful cotton fabrics. As you can see we got a bit excited with the stripes! These pieces are great for layering in the cooler months, and will serve you well once the weather starts to warm up. We only have a limited range in store, make sure you pop in soon to avoid disappointment. 

A change is as good as a holiday...

Change is in the air here at Sedonia. The winter weather has been keeping us indoors and we've been inspired to move things around and freshen things up. I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that we've also been receiving lots of lovely new things... including a new cabinet for the shop.

We're love love loving the beautiful Rosella prints from our friends at Spacecraft. These have been hand screen-printed onto canvas then mounted on ply. By printing the three primary colours in a different sequence, three different birds are produced. Pretty clever we think!

Also new in store are these gorgeous ceramics from Danish label Bloomingville. Designer Betina Stampe focuses on creating products using a combination of natural and hard-wearing materials, with a Scandinavian twist.

These box frames from Milk + Sugar are still new for us but they have been walking out the door. Available with a window mount in standard photo sizes, 4 x 6", 5 x 7" and 8 x 10". The classic, simple finishes of white and timber are perfect for framing artwork and photos, or simply display them with the graphic print provided.

Winter colours

We know Melburnians are renowned for their black wardrobes, but that doesn't mean our homes need to be monochrome as well. We have lots of colourful items in store at the moment, to keep the winter chill away.

Vintage Cabinet

Our beautiful vintage display cabinet is for sale. We are sad to have to let this one go, as it is such a beauty. But we must make room for new things and we're hoping to find a new home for this one. It measures 148cm wide x 100cm high x 51cm deep and is for sale for $500. The internal shelves are glass and can be adjusted to the height/arrangement that suits you. Extra supports and more shelves can also be added if you wish. The frame is nickel and the sliding doors are mirrored on the inside and timber on the outside. I can see this one sitting pretty in a lounge room or entryway, it would be such a gorgeous addition to a vintage-inspired or modern home.
